The traditional way of recieving a TV signal is via a terrestrial aerial.

Due to the impending switch over to digital, you will need a digital freeview or similar reciever box with a suitable aerial to recieve digital terrestrial signals.

Picture quality and channel availability is dependant on location when using a terrestrial system.

Terrestrial aerials are available as either outdoor mounted or indoor portables.
